Free Spin Bonus Round
Free Spins are triggered when 3 or more “free spin carriages” appear on the screen at the same time. Win 15 free spins with 3 carriages, 20 free spins with 4 and the maximum of 25 free spins occurs when 5 free spin carriages appear on the screen at the same time. I wasn't able to hit the maximum durring my test run but did manage to see 4 twice in about 200 spins. It total I hit the free spin bonus 6 times.
Saloon Shooting Bonus Game
This is in my opinion the best part of the new Pistoleras slot. While it doesn't happen as much as the free spin bonus rounds, it certainly does payout more when it's triggered. In fact, on a $2.25 bet the saloon bonus paid off $110. Not a bad chunk of change considering the bet. Even with smaller bets ( bet as low as 0.25¢ ) this feature is the biggest money maker in the game.
What I think
I think Pistoleras is very similar in nature to other recent slot releases from Microgaming. This isn't a bad thing considering the amount of money that can be won compared to their 243 ways to win slots. Pistoleras, like Lucky Leprechaun or Big Chef offers fewer ways to win but offers much bigger payouts and more exciting bonus games than earlier releases.
